Jewel bottle, bright, emblematic of the cuvée Diamant created in 2005 to
celebrate the 20th years of the cuvée
Demoiselle.
Aspect:
Golden,
solar.
Fine
and dynamic bubbles.
Generous
tears.
Nose:
Heady and endless aromatic harmony.
Sensual aromas of cocoa and roasted coffee,
punctuated by delicate spices, signatures of the exceptional maturity of the
champagne obtained by 10 years of patient ageing on laths of the bottles before
riddling and disgorgement.
Later, the Chardonnay, exclusive varietal of
the cuvée, gently establishes itself,
full of elegance, with outstanding scents of candied citrus fruits, apple and
pear compote, apricot and grape, highlighted by an iodized and mentholated
breath.
Palate:
Intense vitality at the opening, enhanced by
the minerality of the chalk.
The mouth is then revealed sensual, soft and
enveloping, thanks to the generous dosage, with 10 g/L of sugar added at
disgorgement.
Life-giving finish, coupled with a delicious
bitterness, underlined by a silky effervescence.
Fabulous length on the palate.
For this Cuvée Diamant Blanc de
Blancs 2007, Dominique Pichart, cellar master of the Champagne house Vranken
summons with talent the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs (Avize, Cramant and
Le Mesnil-sur-Oger), original nod, to blend them and transcend them.
To taste from aperitif to festive meals, with
scallops and ponzu sauce, for example.
Created in 1976, the Champagne house Vranken establishes
itself with its meteoric rise, under the leadership of its visionary founder,
Paul-François Vranken, who put his dynamism and his creativity in the service
of the eponymous brand, to become the second Champagne house. He takes
advantage of the expertise and the perfect knowledge of the vineyard of
Dominique Pichart, first cellar master of the Champagne house Vranken, who
abolishes the spirit of Cognac of the expedition liqueur to invent the Vranken
style producing for over 40 years touching, balanced and festive champagnes.
