Oak cask


Oak cask: High capacity oak barrel (30 hL and more). These wooden wine containers are used for many years and give almost no compound to the contained base wine. The passage of the base wines of champagne in casks, for the vinification (alcoholic and malolactic fermentation) or for the ageing allows a controlled oxidation. The producer who use casks offers a real breath to his base wines, which are then opener.
