Original bottle, very luxurious.
Aspect:
Gold, bright, coupled with reserved green
glints.
Bubbles of a rare finesse.
Bead of foam delicate.
Nose:
Radiant, source of intense emotions.
Delicious farandole of aromas of white fruits
and citrus fruits nice ripe, underlined by subtle fragrances of almond and
exotic fruits, particular characteristic sign of the Chardonnay (70%), chosen
in the locality « Les Crayères » in Romery.
Later, notes of red and black fruits are
unveiled thanks to the Pinot Noir (30%) from the plot « Les Crossats » in
Ecueil, Premier Cru of the small Mountain of Reims.
Palate:
Lively opening and deep, definitely obtained
by the adjusted dosage with only 6 g/L of sugar added at disgorgement.
Exciting minerality, coupled with a great
complexity supported by sensual touches of pastries, translations of the long
ageing of the bottles in the cellars of the house (6 years) before riddling and
disgorgement.
Ample and creamy finish, barely spicy,
reinforced by the ageing of the reserve wines in casks (50%) and driven by a
dynamic effervescence.
Impressive length on the palate.
For this Cuvée René, Sébastien Tribaut was
able to find the inspired blending to offer us a joyful champagne, vibrant
homage to René Schloesser, founder of the house.
Ideal as an aperitif, or during a meal with
pork cheeks confit, glazed with honey and spices, for example.
Founded in 1929, the Champagne house Tribaut
Schloesser continues with passion his endless quest for the quality, under the
leadership of Sébastien Tribaut and his brother Valentin, fourth generation of wine
growers. Grapes carefully selected by hand in 40 hectares of vines, of which 20
hectares of family vineyard spread over the terroirs
of Romery, Cormoyeux and Fleury-la-Rivière as well as over the Grand Cru of Aÿ,
and an accurate and creative œnology enable to produce each year around 250,000
bottles of exceptional champagnes, shipped all over the world.
