Champagne Charlier et Fils - Millésime Bacchus 2010

Guide VERON des Champagnes 2021
(around 24 euros per bottle)

Aspect:

Golden yellow, bright.

Fine and regular effervescence.

Nose:

Radiant aromatic complexity.

Fragrances of red and white fruits, characteristic signs of the meeting of the 3 champenois varietals in equal parts (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier), harvested by hand in 2010, and then meticulously selected in order to guarantee irreproachable sanitary conditions.

Palate:

Voluptuous balance between delicious liveliness, reinforced by the purity of the first juices of grape (cuvée) selected during the pressing, and the sensual roundness, expression of the maturity of the champagne obtained by 8 years of ageing on laths of the bottles and underlined by delicate woody notes, result of the vinification of the base wines in oak casks.

With this Millésime Bacchus 2010 with a very good value for money, Maxime Perrin, wine grower, signs a touching champagne.
