Sober and luxurious bottle.
Aspect:
Gold, coupled with bright emerald glints.
Fine effervescence.
Reserved bead of foam, persistent.
Nose:
Endless and harmonious aromatic farandole.
The sensual scents of apple, pear and white
flowers, elegant signatures of the Chardonnay (50%), gently embrace the aromas
of candied red and black fruits and subtle spices, touching characteristic
signs of the black varietals (25% of Pinot Noir and 25% of Meunier).
Later, the maturity of the champagne slowly
becomes more confident with gourmet touches of pastries and caramel, result of
3 years of ageing on laths of the bottles before riddling and disgorgement.
Palate:
Touching balance at the opening, driven by
the delicate minerality, the one of the Premier Cru terroir of Vrigny, exclusive origin of the grapes.
Remarkable presence, silky and enveloping
roundness, reinforced by the generous dosage with 10 g/L of sugar added at
disgorgement.
Deliciously acidulous finish, underlined by a
spark of fresh and finely spiced mint.
Great length on the palate.
For this cuvée
Réserve Premier Cru, Olivier Suply, its producer, selected his best grapes,
harvested by hand in 2014, to accompany them with gentleness and to offer us a
radiant champagne with a very good value for money.
Champagne for all occasions, it will
perfectly accompany your meals among friends, with a crab millefeuille and
smoked salmon, for example.
Heir to 4 generations of wine
growers, Olivier Suply presides over the destiny of the Champagne house Suply
since 1998. Resolutely committed to an ecofriendly approach, He cultivates his
5 hectares vineyard being certified Haute Valeur Environnementale, without
using herbicides and with a part of the soils cultivated with horse. A
controlled œnology gives birth each year to around 22,000 bottles of champagnes
with personality, variations inspired around Premier Cru terroirs of the small Mountain of Reims and the Ardre Valley.
